1. Who we are

Skawr provides smart product search for online stores. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Store & catalog information — the store link, product feed, or file you provide, and the product data we read from it that your store already makes public (names, prices, images, links).
  • Usage information — search queries run against your store and basic analytics about how the product is used, to operate and improve the Service.

3. How we collect it

You provide account and connection details directly. We read your store’s publicly available product pages much like a search engine does — we don’t change anything on your store. We may use cookies and analytics for basic, aggregate usage measurement.

4. How we use it

To provide and improve search (including generating AI embeddings so search understands meaning, typos, and Arabic/English), to operate your account, to provide support, and to detect and prevent abuse.

5. Sharing

We don’t sell your personal data. We share data with service providers that host our systems and provide AI processing, under confidentiality and only to run the Service; with the Skawr marketplace only if you opt in; and where required by law.

6. Data retention

Guest sessions that aren’t claimed are deleted after 14 days. Your account and catalog are kept while your account is active, and deleted on request (subject to any legal retention obligations).

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your information, and ask us about how it’s processed. Contact us using the details below.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data — for example, passwords are stored hashed and access is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above when we do.
